During our Fairy Tale Unit we read The Three Little Pigs. Students had the chance to create their own house to see if the big bad wolf (aka the hair dryer) would blow it down. Each group synergized to discuss, plan, and create their design. Before the wolf huffed and puffed everyone had to make a hypothesis on what would happen. Here are the results. 
Connecting cubes stood strong. 
Chenille sticks almost held on but the light weight material was no contest for the wolf. 
The popsicle sticks couldn't withstand the wind.
The strips of paper were a surprising contender but the wolf prevailed in the end. 
Kix cereal was another victory for the kiddos.
